From the Little Wizards Pre-School
A new preschool called Little Wizards opened its doors in 2017. Parents that need to commute to Manchester, Stockport, or Buxton can find us on Buxton Road in Newtown, Disley. Buses stop right outside Newtown station, which is located immediately across the street. We have developed close ties with the neighbourhood primary school as well as other early childhood institutions. We are authorised by Ofsted to care for up to 54 children each day, ages 6 months to 5 years. For children aged 2, 3, and 4, we offer 15-hour funded spots, and for children and families who qualify, we offer 30-hour supported spots. We provide flexible sessional care and are term-time only. To cover part of the school holidays, we also provide a holiday club. Children in our setting have access to Spanish classes once a week with Elin, a specialist language instructor from Kidslingo, to enhance language development and diversity.
