At Stonecroft, we consider it important for every child to grow at their own pace. Children can freely explore their surroundings in a variety of scenarios. Each child has a key person allocated to them, and they receive the experiences they require to grow through routine observations and assessments.
We welcome kids between the ages of 3 months and 5 years, and while they frequently interact with one another, they also have separate rooms for when they need them. We are a multicultural environment that welcomes kids from all origins and nationalities. We enjoy strong ties with both the neighbourhood school and the Springboard opportunity organisation.
Before employment begins, thorough checks like references and DBS checks are conducted on all staff members who are all fully qualified.
Children receive extra attention as they approach the pre-school year to help them develop in a way that will prepare them for primary education.
Our most recent OFSTED report demonstrates that our setting is good, and we continuously work to achieve that outstanding rating. OFSTED conducts routine inspections, and we collaborate closely with N-Somerset advisors to make sure we are providing the highest quality of care. We host parents evenings and open afternoons to make it possible for parents to visit the nursery and talk about their child's development.
There are several different sessions available, including breakfast, a morning snack, and afternoon tea. Everyone can enjoy a two-course home-cooked lunch, and special dietary needs are accommodated. The atmosphere at meals is casual and social, and politeness and behaviour are encouraged.
