Our setting recognises parents as the first and most important educators of their children.
We provide parents with up to date information which is accessible to them on our notice board, via our pre-school newsletter, on our website and inside: on our notice boards and parents table in the main entrance hall.
The manager and staff members are always available to talk to parents, carers and childminders at all times and there is also an office available for more confidential conversations.
making sure that we have, and work to, policies that help us to provide a high quality service.
Our Committee Meetings are generally held once a term and are very sociable and a good way to get to know other parents, carers and grandparents.
Most importantly, you get to have a say in how your child's pre-school is run and are able to play a valuable part in maintaining high standards of childcare that pre-school provides.
Our Committee also organises a number of fund raising events during the year.

In the morning sessions we provide a cafe style snack for the children, offering a good range of healthy foods.
We provide children with lots of opportunities to enjoy literacy: we read books at the end of each session, have a good selection of theme focused books and a snuggly sofa available to children during the session, and we extend their joy of the written word into re-enacting, craft activities, imaginative play, etc..
Each child is encouraged to borrow a book to take home and share with their family.
