Our Birmingham Saturday School has been meeting at Harborne Academy in Harborne since May 2013.
Our qualified staff of instructors prepares students for regular professional and amateur performances, tests, festivals, and auditions throughout hour-long courses in acting, dancing, and singing.
We think The Theatre Workshop has successfully raised the bar for part-time training, gained national recognition, and taken a leading position in the performing arts education field. The children are the centre of all we do, and we have created a welcoming, safe environment where the kids' unique personalities and abilities can flourish.
All of our students and parents are welcome to come to us for advice, direction, or assistance, and they are always encouraged to do so.
Over 1000 individuals attended large-scale concerts at The Brighton Dome.
At The Metropole, Hilton, we held our awards ceremony, The Oscarettes, in front of over a thousand guests and VIPs.
In the past, professional opportunities have included performing in UK tours of shows like Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat, Evita, South Pacific, Half a Sixpence, Abbamania, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Think Floyd, Collabro tour, Barricade Boys, Voice in a Million at O2, and Ellen Kent Operas like La Boheme, Madame Butterfly, Carman, Aida, Turendot, La Traviata, Nabucco, and Tosca.
